- The Crompton Thermal Plastic range of LED reflector bulbs has been designed throughout to offer a cost effective, durable and energy efficient solution for those looking to slash their energy costs and upgrade their existing reflector bulbs to LED.This range differs from other LED bulbs in that the bulbs shell has been designed specifically for the modern componentry inside. The glass and aluminium normally found in LED bulbs has been replaced with a lightweight thermal plastic composite that dissipates heat away from the bulbs essential components much more effectively. LED bulbs run much cooler than incandescent versions anyway, so this process only serves to lower their thermal output even further. In doing so it extends the lifetime of the bulb way beyond that of incandescent bulbs - this LED reflector will last up to 15,000 hours compared with the 3,000 hours of traditional versions.Additional benefits include markedly improved efficiency (each reflector can use up to 90% less energy than its incandescent counterpart) and an instant, warm white beam that's great for diffuse or accent lighting. Each bulb is designed as a direct replacement for 60W reflector bulbs, so this will retrofit to any existing Edison Screw fitting that can accommodate the bulbs 63mm envelope.
