- Nurofen Plus 32 Tablets Nurofen Plus 32 Tablets Nurofen Plus 32 Tablets are for the short-term treatment (up to 3 days) of acute, moderate pain that has not been relieved by simple painkillers such as paracetamol, ibuprofen or aspirin alone. Each tablet contains Ibuprofen 200 mg (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, NSAID) and Codeine phosphate 12.8 mg (an opioid painkiller) to provide dual-action pain relief. What it is used for Headache and migraine Dental pain and period pain Muscular pain and rheumatic pain Backache Fever and pain associated with colds and flu Pain following injury or minor surgery (on the advice of a healthcare professional) Use only when other painkillers have not been effective enough.
