First they filled six quarter casks with our most full-flavoured beer, the mighty Jester IPA, and let the hoppy beer impart its character into the single-use, ex-bourbon American barrels. Then these casks are refilled with their single malt whisky. The resulting subtle tropical and citrus hop flavours beautifully complement the creamy smooth whisky to produce an easy-drinking, accessible expression. Only 1248 bottles in this special release. Natural colour, non-chill filtered. Nose: Zesty citrus and a hint of fresh herbs; pineapple and tropical fruit.Palate: Sweet biscuit backed by light mango, green apple and creamy vanilla.Finish: Long and very smooth, gentle warmth, lingering caramel.
