In summary, if you know your GFB valves, this is the same as the T9451 VTA but with an integrated solenoid valve for a lower stack height and greater engine bay clearance. Reliable Boost HoldingDespite some improvements in reliability by the latest generation of OEM diverter valves, the performance trade-offs remain. There is no escaping the fact that the moulded plastic valve mechanism of the OEM valve cannot reliably seal boost pressure. The VTA’s CNC-machined aluminium and brass valve components, combined with a Viton face seal ensure reliable boost holding even up to 50psi.
