Its extra-strength formula contains 26% w/w salicylic acid, which helps soften and remove hardened skin while helping to eliminate the virus responsible for warts and verrucas. The clear, colourless gel dries to form a water-resistant protective layer over the treated area, so there is normally no need to use a plaster.
