Each metered spray delivers 400 micrograms of glyceryl trinitrate under the tongue, where it can be absorbed rapidly. Glyceryl trinitrate belongs to a group of medicines called nitrates. It works by relaxing and widening the blood vessels, improving blood flow and reducing the workload placed on the heart. This pack contains approximately 200 metered doses. This is a prescription-only medicine and should only be used by the person for whom it has been prescribed.
